Do you have the guts to watch this video, can you handle the truth ?
3/29/2001
I have learned a great deal in 42+ years, and I'm sure I will learn much more in the 40+ I hope remain.
But just in case some moron in a zamboni runs over me before my time, I would hate die like most people with what I know locked up in my head. Since I never expect to be famous or write a book, I thought it might be fun to post here on the net the practical things that I KNOW for 1000% sure so far.
This page is about a 10 minute read to the end. However, I promise your brain many ideas, and your eyes a tear or two.
I'm uneasy when people tell me how smart they think I am. Don't get me wrong, its like hearing you are a smart hockey player, but your savvy enough to understand there are a million smarter hockey players than yourself.
The truth is that the only bright thing I have ever done is ponder things others ignore (like the global investment effects of the fall of the Berlin wall in back in 1989) and try to separate wheat from the chaff in the ideas of others to numerous to mention.
I also try hard as well to learn from my mistakes (and I have made plenty) and those of others. Ignoring lessons in failure almost assures its repeat performance. The bigger a mistake, the more vital dissecting it is to avoid a rerun. Thinking skills alone are wasted if enthusiasm, the willingness to work hard, and ambition are missing.
I think people should try hard to find a very successful role model and try to emulate their success on any scale possibly. Like pouring water into a cup, the water resembles the shape of the cup while still retaining its own identity.
Being successful in life is like having a good cookie recipe, once you have the right formula and ingredients you can produce all the cookies you need.
I use the word successful and not "rich" with intent. Those who covet their neighbors success say the word "rich" with the same loathing in their voice as a moron, racist when they speak the "n" word.
Its very hard to say someone is successful with hate or envy in your voice. Only idiots hate the successful, especially those who are self made and create lots of jobs and wealth for people of more ordinary ambition.
In my opinion the most completely successful American to ever live was entrepreneur extraordinary and milk Chocolate branding genius Milton S. Hershey.
My apologies to Bill Gates, Henry Ford, Wayne Gretzegy, Tiger Woods, Michael Jordan and Thomas Edison, more people may know of their success but for me Hershey is now and will always be numero uno. Never giving up and thinking outside the box were the keys to Hershey's success.
The life of Milton Hershey was one that showed a passionate belief that: Your people come first, being a good steward of financial resources is a close second, things are third and a legacy of charity is forth.
Its almost funny to think about the fact that possibly only Jesus has made more people on this planet smile than Milton Hershey. It may not be true much longer but its said more people on this earth have eaten a Hershey chocolate than have ever made a phone call.
Few people will ever achieve a happier, better or more permanent legacy for their life and their people than Milton Hershey. Although he was never a father yet over 7000 of "his boys" (and now girls) have greatly benefited from the billions Milton Hershey left in a perpetual trust for his school for under advantaged children and the needs of Hershey Pa.
When I say "your people" I mean those in your immediate family that you love endlessly and have primary responsible for. What they really need MUST always come first.
Things, especially things you want but don't really need can only be considered when your obligations to your people and good stewardship of money are fulfilled.
A practical example of this would be that providing for your child's medical expenses comes before saving for your retirement which comes before buying a painting you want to decorate your house with.
If your ambition ever makes you an employer I think its smart to think of your long term employees in a broader definition of "your people".
Being responsible for your people REQUIRES that you be a good steward of money, and treat it like the precious valuable resource it is, working hard to preserve, and grow it for future's needs. Its impossible in my view to be a successful steward of money and think you don't have arch enemies in your pursuit of success.
Everyone has 3 evil, lying devils who work 24/7/365 to seduce away their ability to be a good steward of money: Most Advertising, many Lawyers and nearly all government and government like organizations.
Most advertising is designed to get you to BLOW your money on things you want, not things you need. Things you really need require no ad's to encourage your purchase. Need alone negates any requirement of seduction.
Advertising is mostly designed to seduce your imagination into blowing your resources on things the ads has conned you into thinking you need, when you actually just want them. Both sexes are nearly equally vulnerable to this devastating influence on your money.
Most lawyers are awesome human beings in a great profession. However, many Lawyers are in the business of making war, primary for their own economic gain.
I know from the incredibly professional attorneys who have worked for me I know that a GREAT lawyer is one who works for the best possible simple solution to problems with the fewest hours billed, so their client can get back to productive work and they get on to work for more clients.
Really HORRIBLE lawyers ( I call them "millers") are the ones who mill the seeds of trouble in bigger conflict to enable them to bill more hours milling all involved into the most elaborate court mandated in triplicate solution whose primary milled economic benefit is to the miller via huge legal bills.
Absurd class action and divorce lawyers whose modus operandi is to start absurd wars between people are the worst "millers". "Millers" burn relationships at the stake and permanently disable cooperation in others in the really worst kind of evil selfish greed. A pox on all those who knowingly employ a "miller" lawyer to destroy, may they all someday suffer the point of the same sword they unsheathe.
I envy all who will only ever meet a lawyer socially, to prepare their will, or adopt a child.
Like most advertising, most Government and near government organizations (like labor unions and special interest groups) play an equally seductive game of trying to confuse your wants and needs. The sad reality is that what they wants most is the power of those dollars in your hand, that YOU earned for them.
Most people just don't understand that most of governments prime directive is caring for its own interest first and "we the people" second if at all. A recent study concluded that only about .28 cents of every dollar of money government antipoverty programs every reaches the needy.
Who among us would give to a charity or invest in a company with just 28% efficiency. In sports teams winning just 28% of the time are usually in last place in the standings. That 28% efficiency is probably high when you consider the corruption inside labor unions and other near government special interest groups.
Why do people accept most government doing COMPLETELY UNCONSTITUTIONAL things and blowing 72% of the illegally spent money of bureaucracy? Your average 3rd grader can manage most jobs with at least 50% efficiency.
Its totally bizarre to me how many people still believe that giving a $1 to government so it can give pennies back in goods or services is a better deal than what people could buy with the same dollars not taxed away in their own hands. But of course, letting people keep the money they earn to solve problems would give no power to government, and that is after all the name of the game.
How else can you explain things like government run schools spending 8-10k per student where half of them can't pass even basic proficiency benchmarks, yet people buy bull hook, line and sinker that the problem is government schools need more money. Meanwhile private schools with a fraction of the cash per student deliver far superior results. Go figure !!!!!
I just want to puke every time I hear some political fake talk about how much they care about "the children" and their needs. The Clinton's are the worst in this regard.
The truth is that what these political fakes care about is getting as much power as possible for government and themselves. They use poor children, poor seniors, pollution, crime, abused animals, and anything their political consultants can dream up from A to Z to fool you into thinking the best way to solve problems is for you to give them your powerful dollars for foolish, unconstitutional programs with efficiency so low even the retarded could do a better job.
According to them, God help us if any illegal government intervention ever end, life as we know might come to a screeching halt. Never mind the reality that 99.99% of all government retreats from intervention makes problems better, and 99.9% of new interventions make the problem worse.
A simple recent example of the 10,000 government mistakes I can recite was the Feds totally unconstitutional law to regulate high cable TV rates. The first thing cable companies had to do was raise rates further to cover the costs of all the new federal paperwork. Can anybody tell me where the constitution guarantees you the right to below market cable prices ?
Just imagine what Thomas Jefferson and the founders would think of the feds regulating cable prices. Their FEAR of overreaching government stifling future progress is why they wrote a 10th amendment that says power not given or delegated to the federal government in the constitution belongs to the states or to the people.
Our Founders clearly understood the power a central government has to make problems worse and wanted the states to be in unending competition (kinds like a pro sports league each year) because competition almost always breeds excellence and high achievement.
Even 3rd graders with a D average understand the meaning of " power not given", yet nearly every politician has amnesia when the times come to uphold their sworn oath to preserve, protect and defend the constitution and never use power not given to them.
Bill Clinton was hardly the first politician whose word was no good, he is just the most well know.
Judged by the perspective of if they vigorously upheld their sworn oath of office only a handful per 100,000 of elected officials actually ever deserve reelection. My grandfather Gregory O'Brien was a very wise man who claimed he never voted for any incumbent. Its funny to thing they might do the right, constitutional thing more often if reelection almost never occurred and elected public service was a once and done life event.
The corrupt government model has now spread beyond government organizations to what are commonly referred to as NGO's or non-government organizations that work like a government.
In many non-government organizations the corruption government scam model is identical: Promote what good and vital work you are doing to get the peoples money and use that money for the groups heads to live like kings while doing only the minimum amount of good work needed to keep appearances up and the public relations machine well fed.
I absolutely believe that power does corrupt and that near absolute power does indeed corrupt absolutely. Just look at the NGO's that have drained their coffers of money raised for good works to cover up the criminal activity of their leadership: United Way, NAACP, The Catholic church, Jessie Jackson's Rainbow coalition, and more powerful charities, lobbing groups, and TV evangelists than you can count.
Every NGO scandal has the same theme: to cover up the sins of the leadership committed with the peoples money in order to protect the organization future cash flow if the truth was known. In effect screw the people, as long as the organization is protected.
I just want to puke when I think of all the private, public, and tax deductible money NGO's have pissed away covering their ASSets in my lifetime.
The most appalling of them all is the Catholic church, who for 40 years engaged in what the Pope now admits to what was a criminal enterprise to protect child molesting priests from the criminal prosecution they deserved. Of course they could not have done it without all those coward government prosecutors who didn't want to jail a Catholic priest and maybe loose the votes of some Catholics in their future political races.
The lesson everyone should know well is that the larger and more powerful any organization, The government, The Catholic church, or the United way, or even a huge company like Ennron the less it should be trusted because they have huge resources to cover up their own corruption.
Put your trust in yourself and the power of your fellow individual citizens to change the world. Given their track record of corruption only fools put faith in most Government and NGO's to make the world a better safer place.
The only government entity to make the world a better, safer place for all God's children to live in the last 100 years (considering the $ they had to spend) is the United States Military, The US Post office and the Federal reserve. By no small consequence those are the only 3 agencies of government directly authorized by our constitution.
The main defense against the three evil empires of most advertising, some lawyers and most government is to know your enemy well and accept that fact they are you and your peoples lifelong mortal enemy to being a good steward of money.
Having strict savings and spending budgets, setting aside money for emergencies and being aware of your 3 enemies tactics are also important tools to develop effective counter strategy.
I know how hard it is to resist "the more you make the more you spend" American normal lifestyle that keeps 90% of the population in the practical poverty of negative net worth. Respect for the power money does indeed attract more money, in the same way disrespect and powerlessness regarding financial matters repels money from you.
Childish, careless, self-indulgent drunk like behavior regarding money is why so many music stars and actors like MC Hammer, Kim Bassinger, and nearly half of all pro athletes end up filing for bankruptcy despite having made millions.
Most Americans live way beyond their means in a scaled down version of celebrity excess that will end in the same place: Dependence, poverty, or personal bankruptcy. If thrift was as easy and cool as living large, few would live in a mode that can in reality be called: Screw the future, live only for now.
Nobody ever really dies wishing they saved less carefully and spent more frivolously. Thrift is a virtue ignored by most, but is as important as any. Poverty has zero nobility, and bankruptcy gives nobody dignity.
Politicians LOVE our self-induced poverty for it guarantees millions of people will be beholding to them for current and future needs.
It's very frustrating to me that during the 23 years since I have been a financial advisor the percentage of the American population with negative net worth has declined just 5% to 90%. This despite the longest period of non-inflationary real economic growth and technological advancement in the entire history of every nation since the roman empire..
Since 1980 the average American family has earned over $350,000 yet 90% remain broke on paper.
More astounding is that this happened while stocks grew 5-10 fold and real estate prices are up 3-5 fold yet only 5% more Americans are not broke.
One need only look at the last 20 year chart of consumer spending stocks like Walmart to understand that what the average American is doing with their money is spending it, in large part on stuff they want but don't really need. Today, most people elect the self worth of how good buying stuff feels over net worth investing for the future gives.
How can anyone to ponder these facts with a room temperature IQ and not conclude the degree of personal financial mismanagement by the average American is not totally and absolutely breathtaking. The financial responsibility of the average American makes even the incompetent Federal government mismanagement of the social security trust funds look nearly prudent in comparison.
Every now and then there will be a story in the news about some older American who died having earned and lived well yet still modestly their entire life. People were then shocked to find out they had millions of dollars saved in investments for their heirs and charity. People like that should be the norm and not the exception.
Living on even 105% of your earnings is indeed the road to dependent poverty as sure as living on 90-95% and investing the rest is the road to independence.
I can't even describe how bad I feel for people over 60 who worked hard for 40 years and via their own foolish decisions have zero net worth. Their status is that of chum in the sea to political sharks needing votes.
Few people understand it takes just $157 a month for 40 years, or a single one time lump sup sum of about 11k earning 12% an average to accumulate a million dollars. The simple law of compound interest assures financial independence and can never be repealed.
Charity should be a forth priority in life. However charity has a huge pitfall many people fall prey to: Its a sin not to help somebody who truly needs help (like the orphans, or the blind and disabled), but its a bigger sin to help somebody who can help themselves and just prefers not to. Those people don't need help what they need is inspiration to do for themselves.
Ex-wives and members of your extended family (like siblings) may often request your charity and should receive it, unless they are lazy or the self-absorbed, greedy type that spends most of their cash on themselves while their family's needs go unmet. In that case, the most truly charitable thing you can say is no.
America is full of people who refuse to help themselves in part because countless politicians from ALL political parties have taught them to believe in the totally false religion of scarcity where they preach that if sacrifice is needed its best for somebody else to do the sacrificing.
They speak in the language of less, not in the language of possibilities. For them its always a discussion about how to divide the pie "fairly" and seldom one about how to bake more pies.
They speak of unequal distribution of income in total and complete ignorance of the fact income is EARNED, NOT DISTRIBUTED. The only thing distributed unequally in America is ambition, responsibility and the norm of rugged individualism.
The only thing distributed unequally in the world is capitalism. Its no accident that the poorest countries on the planet are the least capitalistic and vice versa.
It's completely wrong when people blessed with ambition or assets who can provide for themselves but just prefer others pay for them (greedy ex-wives and well heeled seniors who demand others pay for their healthcare costs is a perfect example of this).
Its abhorrent to me that people with low incomes and low/no assets pay high taxes in a totally unethical government reverse robin hood scheme to finance the wants and needs of those who have higher income and assets.
Giving a person a fish does indeed feed them for a day.
However, thinking others need to be taught to fish presumes they are a moron who can't figure out what low IQ cavemen did a million years ago.
The most charitable act one can give to adults inclined to unambition to inspire them. The best way to do this is to point them in the direction of the lake (the economy), remind them its full of fish, (opportunity) and tell them you are confident they are smarter than the average cave man and will surely figure out fishing (providing for themselves) shortly after they get hungry enough.
Taking any fish government has taxed away from your fellow mans catch is the first shackle in a life of slavery and dependence with government as master and pimp of your well being. Slavery isn't a life anyone with an ounce of compassion should ever advocate as a solution for those lacking ambition. They need inspiration to be free not the leg irons of government run slavery.
Failing at any attempt to fish is no excuse to expect somebody else to fish for you. Milton Hershey failed so many times in his early life but got up and kept trying, I swear the adage If at first you don't succeed, try, try again was written about him.
When I think about Michael Jordan, the William's sisters tennis stars, Oprah ( who I really dislike after her mad cow court case) none of them or legions of other great successful Americans got where they are because they avoided hard work or ever quit. People succeed because they don't see quitting or failure as an option ever open to their soul.
Its vitally important to understand that since the fall of the Berlin wall in 1989 that economic lake we fish in became more global. Everyday the global economy makes some product, service or labor new a completive global commodity.
When I wrote this a British game show host (the weakest link) was preparing to be on an American prime time TV lineup, and a 6-10 Chinese army officer was about to become the first Asian to play in the NBA.
Economic history before late 1989 is now totally irrelevant, everything is now a potentially global commodity available via the net 24/7/365 and no monopoly, service, product, or labor is safe from global competition !!!
In that global world none of us are completely safe from terrorism either. Until the free world finds the resolve to go on offense and exterminate terrorists insects (and the global narcotics trade that finances 90% of world terrorism) by hitting them before they hit us, this plague will never end. America also needs to hold the Saudis and other gulf oil kingdoms feet to the fire and force them to stop financing the 10% of terrorism that does not come from the drug trade or we wont buy their oil.
In a world of global markets with a million suppliers and plentiful everything its nuts to think customers should fear suppliers cutoff of them.
In the real world, suppliers fear PO'ed customers going elsewhere. The global oil market is no different, and we are morons if we shake in fear of Arab oil boycott. We are not in Kansas and this is not the 70's anymore Dorothy. We live in a global market for everything, especially oil.
What a waste it is to have the worlds most powerful military technology in the history of mankind to kill drug smuggling terrorist maggots with and be afraid to use it because the polls show it would be unpopular.
Politicians never lead they follow. Leaders do the right thing and let the chips fall where they may. Success killing drug smuggling terrorist scum is always popular eventually.
Wiping out terrorism doesn't just require we kill existing terrorists in the short term. In the longer term we need to figure out how to solve the legitimate land claims of Palestinian civilians so that their children and grandchildren will no longer be raised to hate America/Israel and kill others in acts of terror as they have been for 50 years now.
Terrorists have for years wanted to commit bombings on US soil. The SUPER lax immigration & visa policies of the Clinton administration in the late 90's and their TOTAL failure to accept turnover of Arab terrorist kingpins they had tried to kill when offered them by Somalia (they were just to busy with the Lewinsky scandal) just about guarantees MANY MORE terrorist cells are living here in America among us now ( 3/29/01). God help us if they are planning a rude wake up call for America in the future.
When that wake up call occurs, do you think the media will remind America why Bill Clinton was to busy with scandals to get terrorist kingpins offered to us on a silver plate by Somalia ? Of course they wont, because they told us that Clinton's private behavior never affected his public judgment. Kinda like the time he bombed unimportant terror targets to get his personal scandal off the front page of the News.
We were lucky in 1993 when Arab terrorist scumbags tried to bomb the world trade center in NYC. When Americans die by the hundreds because Arab terrorist networks (who are much better organized with access to more powerful tactics then Tim Mcvey and his fellow nuts were in OK city with a farm fertilizer truck bomb), their blood will be on President Clinton's hands.
Will anybody in the media tell the truth if innocent Americans die in the future that its Clinton's fault ? Please pray everyday this never happens.
Failure to exterminate terrorist drug smuggling cockroaches just guarantees they will breed and terrorism being just as much a problem for our great grandchildren's world as it is for ours today.
Its a mission we must try harder to succeed at now.
To quit trying to succeed in life because your to young, or to old or to "fill in the blank" and have failed before is the mark of a looser. If fate has you down, rest if you must but you may not quit.
We all need to be grateful everyday that Washington's soldiers at Valley Forge didn't quit on our future freedom because it was freezing cold (more on this later).
Charity for children is different since children can be victims or beneficiaries in exact proportion to the frequency of love and actual responsible unindulgent adult behavior their parents display.
The difference between real adults and children is that real adults do what needs to be done and do it well even when they don't like feel like it..
Having D minus (or worse) parents is no excuse to justify being a failure. Kids with A plus to F minus parents succeed everyday without regard to their upbringing.
Don't get me wrong good parents are definitely better than bad ones, it just not usually a dealbreaker in life. I myself am a good example of how D minus physically abusive and totally religious fascist parents can turn out a much better people than themselves. I already believe that my incredibly awesome son Sean is already a better person than I have ever been.
Despite any disadvantage fate may deal, in a 12 trillion dollar a year US economic lake (40 Trillion Globally) not being able fish out even a modest catch to provide for oneself and people is the equivalent of admitting your dumber than a hungry cave man.
Most people who continually are served breakfast in bed eventually forget how to make it themselves and start to think without a cook they will starve. Its funny to think of it that way, but funny or not we all KNOW in our hearts its true !!!
Self-indulgent dependence is not the road anyone should aspire to travel.
We do have a creator who did exactly as Americas founders wrote: Endowed us with the inalienable rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. America's Founders didn't think peoples wants equaled a right or that your happiness should be guaranteed and delivered by government program via money stolen from your neighbors with ever higher taxes.
An inalienable right is one nobody can rightfully take away from you.
Most Government activity infringes on somebody liberty with no constitutional authority to do so and as such is an illegal and unconstitutional government act conducted by public employees who took an oath to preserve, protect and defend the constitution and those inalienable rights it bestows on "we the people".
The constitution of the United States was written very clearly to protect the people from government excess. Today, its outright limitations on Uncle Sam's power are simply ignored.
Thomas Jefferson warned future Americas to be wary of bestowing government any real power to meddle in our lives. Our founders feared a powerful central government because as Jefferson wrote that government always seeks to expand and for freedom to recede.
James Madison, considered the father of the US constitution in the Federalist paper #45 in support of the proposed constitution that " The powers delegated by the proposed constitution to the federal government are few and defined. Those that remain with the states are numerous and indefinite. Article 1 section 8 of the constitution puts strict limits on what laws a federal congress can enact. That provision is simply ignored today.
Fear of the central government having to much power to interfere with the blessings of liberty is why our founders greatly feared any income tax and made such taxes unconstitutional.
The constitutional probation on income taxes was fraudulently overturned during world war one via a constitutional amendment that was never actually legally rarified.
Two state legislatures that opposed the income tax amendment decided to kill it by "passing" on the opportunity to have any vote, however the feds illegally counted those states as "passing" the amendment, so they could pass a "temporary emergency income tax" promising only the super rich would ever have to pay it.
Just look at the mess that "temporary" tax to fund world war I has brought us in 85+ years.
We now have a 2 Trillion dollar government that unconstitutionally regulates everything from Apple sauce to Zebra breeders, runs huge unconstitutional medical and pension programs, and serves up cradle to crave everything for those who prefer to use the government like Al Capone extorting money from others to provide for their wants.
The saddest part of this state of affairs is that its our own fault.
When government does things it has no authority to do, few Americans have the balls to tell them to take a hike and verbally challenge their legal authority to act contrary to the crystal clear prohibitions in constitution (esp. the 10th amendment).
Those who tell Uncle Sam employees to kiss their constitutional assets are treated like they are nuts.
As somebody who has had to stare down many government bureaucrats in the past 20 years and questioned their legal authority to interfere with my liberty and constitutional rights I want to tell the you exactly what almost always happens:
Government, when forced to hear almost any protest that its actions are unconstitutional backs down and go off to bother somebody else.
Like a hotel burglar faced with a locked door, Government simply heads down the hallway looking for another unlocked door it can enter without effort and steal somebody's else's liberty.
If only every American would double dead bolt their liberty government liberty thieves would need to find a real job. Like children, government actually understands, and generally heeds firmly delivered use of the word: NO
The only way I see to arrest America's journey down " the road to serfdom"
(a great book to read) is for every American get a copy of the constitution and study it, especially the 1st (free expression), 4th (right to be secure), 5th (property rights), 8th (excessive fines), 10th (limits on government power), 13th (probation on any form of forced labor) amendments and most important article 1 section 8 that defines government power. You can read the constitution online here:
By understanding your rights to the blessings of liberty and you will be able to say to government employees as confidentially and you do with a 10 year old child: What part of "no" is it that you don't fully understand.
If you are thinking, that you don't have the stomach to tell the government to kiss off when it acts unconstitutionally let me tell you how I find the gumption to tell government not just no, but HELL NO !
I think about George Washington's men 227+ years ago in a cold winter at Valley Forge near starving to death on a frozen Christmas eve.
Some had no shoes or boots, and those who did were not in good repair. Yet they marched that frigid night to the Delaware river, crossing the entire continental army over, and then marching thru the night, cold and hungry to risk life and limb in a surprise battle with the King's mercenary Hessians in cozy warm barracks at Trenton when the sun rose Christmas morning.
Those men gave their lives, fortunes, and sacred honor that future generations of Americans like you and I would enjoy the most wonderful Christmas present ever: The blessings of liberty and unalienable rights against government excess.
From Valley Forge, to Gettysburg, France's no-mans land, D-Day, Ka Son, Kuwait city and a thousand places in between millions of Americans have given the last full measure of their lives and limbs to protect your unalienable constitutional rights to the blessings of liberty and spread it to other nations.
Nobody will likely ever ask you to match their sacrifice or march in the cold and snow to Trenton NJ without food or good boots in freezing cold to risk death and disability for the freedom of future generations on Christmas day.
In honor of their sacrifice for your freedom today,
I ask you only to study the constitutional rights they sacrificed everything for and since many more have died and been disabled to preserve, protect and defend.
When you understand your unalienable rights and with images of American soldiers sacrifice at places like Valley Forge in your mind and heart,
I PROMISE YOU, IT WILL BE piece of cake easy the next time an unknowing government bureaucrat makes an unconstitutional demand on you and your people to muster out the courage to tell them NO and then explain why their demand is unconstitutional and remind them of THEIR oath as a public employee not to trample on the inalienable rights of the governed.
Don't be afraid to tell them about that solider who marched in the snow to Trenton either, so you would have the right to tell the government no when it crosses the line.
If only 1 in 5 Americans read the constitution and became savvy soldiers who never turn their back and run on the intellectual battlefield for liberty, refused to pick government cotton, and made clear that they are not their slaves, things could be very different in short order.
In memory of those who gave their lives and limbs for YOUR liberty, please study the constitution and each day REJECT the unconstitutional notion of whatever the government wants the government gets.
Carpe Diem,
Michael Woody O'Brien
